Project 51 Architecture Ltd

Project 51 Architecture Ltd was started in 2016 by Peter Njuguna who has been practicing as a registered architect since 2012.

Current projects include a mixture of residential extensions, new dwellings & education projects.

His previous experience includes working for award winning conservation practice in Cardiff and school/ church architects in Oxford.

Portfolio of work consists of:

  • Masterplans and feasibility studies for a number of independent schools and churches

  • Sketch design to construction completion of a number of residential, school & church projects 

  • Design competitions for both feasibility studies and individual buildings for independent schools, churches and cultural projects

  • Design & Build production information as novated architects on school and cultural projects for contractors 

  • Pro bono & Charity design work including masterplans, general layout drawings, production information and construction site visits for charities with international programmes

Peter's architectural education started during visits to and working in construction sites and architecture offices during school holidays before joining Cardiff University, where he developed a passion for critical regionalism and architecture that is both locally relevant and environmentally sustainable. He later joined Oxford Brookes University for his Diploma, pursuing postgraduate courses in International Architecture & Anthropology and Experimental Design.

He is a keen squash player and a sometime sprint triathlete.
